"Graham came highly recommended and came right over when I explained my emergency with the City. They had never dealt with all the complexities of taking an industrial building and converting it to a combined residential and work scenario so my project ground to a standstill while they tried to sort out all the different sets of codes for each department. Graham worked so well with the City officials and understood the red tape. The project was finished much faster thanks to him and was much better. "When it came time to replace the front and rear porches on our home, I approached Graham with some very specific requirements for assistance. I had a reasonable idea what I was after for a design, but my sketches didn't look quite 'right', and I needed proper drawings for the required building permit process.
I had some specific ideas for porches that would be a little bit different, but I also didn't want them to look like they didn't belong on the house or in our mature neighbourhood where the houses are a real mix of ages and styles. Graham listened carefully to my ideas and requirements and looked closely not only at our house but at the neighbouring homes and their porches.
Graham presented my wife and I with half a dozen different 'idea sketches' which started with my design ideas and pushed them in a variety of different directions. From here we were able to settle on a look that we all felt was appropriate. There is no doubt that Graham's professional eye for design is reflected in all of the handful of deviations from my design. They looked exactly 'right'.
